
F.J. Lamela Bio
FJ Lamela began his musical career with keyboards and low-budget samplers. He gained recognition when Los 40 Principales selected him to create jingles for the program “Nos vamos de marcha”, featuring vocals by his sister, Raquel Lamela. This success led to collaborations with various local and provincial radio stations.
He later released his first track, “K-Files”, under Weekend Records and licensed by Warner ,which was named the best dance song in Berlin for three weeks. Teaming up with Roberto Uceda as DoubleDose, they released “Luv Me 2” under Contraseña Records. He also launched “Overload”, featuring Raquel Lamela.
With Uceda, under the alias Uplifters, they released “Party Vibe” with Fader Records. As a solo artist under the same alias, he published “A Constant Thing”, which was included in United Deejays Vol.2 by MD Records.
FJ Lamela expanded internationally, collaborating with Toryumon Records, a UK-based Japanese company, where his track “Set me Free Baby” topped digital downloads for 11 weeks. After a break, he returned with Penelope Records, releasing “What Can You Do?” and remixing songs for several artists. He also participated in a World remix contest for Time Unlimited Label Record , “Antidote”, ranking in the Top 5.
Currently, he remains active in music, working on compositions for films, short films, TV, advertising, and radio jingles, as well as producing and arranging for other artists.
